By downloading, installing, or using MealSnap, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

You must be at least 16 years old to use MealSnap. By using the app, you represent that you are at least 16 years of age.

We may update these terms from time to time. Your continued use of MealSnap after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

MealSnap is an AI-powered calorie tracking and meal planning application that provides:

• AI-powered meal photo analysis for calorie and macro estimation
• Manual food logging and barcode scanning
• Meal planning and scheduling
• Recipe discovery and browsing
• Weight and progress tracking
• Personalized nutrition insights

To use MealSnap, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Not share your account with others
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

MealSnap offers both free and premium subscription options:

You agree not to:

• Use MealSnap for any illegal purpose
• Share, sell, or transfer your account
• Attempt to reverse engineer or decompile the app
• Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise app security
• Use automated systems to access the app
• Misrepresent information about yourself or your meals
• Use the service to harass, abuse, or harm others

MealSnap, including its design, features, content, and technology, is owned by Mad Growth and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without our written permission.

You retain ownership of photos and content you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a license to use it for providing and improving the service.

MealSnap integrates with third-party services including Open Food Facts for food data and AI providers for meal analysis. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of these services.

Links to external websites or services are provided for convenience. We do not endorse and are not responsible for third-party content or practices.

MealSnap is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. AI-generated nutrition information may contain inaccuracies.

We are not responsible for decisions you make based on information provided by the app.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mad Growth shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or health, arising from your use of MealSnap.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €50, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mad Growth, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of MealSnap, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed from our systems.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to the service or other users.

Upon termination, your right to use MealSnap immediately ceases. Provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of MealSnap shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam, Netherlands.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms in the app or via email.

Your continued use of MealSnap after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. If you do not agree to the changes, please stop using the app.
